  • Composition

    A mixture of polymeric organic nitrogen and sulphur compounds dissolved in aromatic solvent. STADIS® 450 is uniquely approved as “Static Dissipator Additive” (SDA) for use in aviation fuels. STADIS® 450 is effective in most petroleum fuels and products. It is widely used in ground fuels, such as kerosene, diesel fuel, gas oil and heating oil.

  • Treat Rate

    Normal range: 0.5 to 5.0 mg/litre. A maximum of 3 mg/l is permitted in certain jet fuels at first addition. STADIS® 450 may be added “as supplied” or pre-diluted with jet kerosene before addition.

    STADIS® 450 is approved under STANAG 7036 for use in fuels distributed through the NATO pipeline. STADIS® 450 is widely used in ground fuels and is the logical choice for fuels distributed through multi-product pipeline systems. STADIS® 450 is specified for use in EN590 diesel in France.

Static Dissipator Additive

STADIS® 450 is the premium static dissipator additive (SDA) in use today. It reduces the risk of static discharge and electro-static ignition at minimal treat rates. STADIS® 450 the only SDA approved worldwide for use in civilian and military aviation turbine jet fuels. Its use is mandatory in most aviation turbine fuels for either civil or military use. The additive is also widely used in ground fuels.
