3.5″ ALUMINUM PNEUMATIC VAPOR VALVE THREADED MOUNT

The aluminum 3.5” (89mm) pneumatically actuated interlock vapor valve is designed as a vapor transfer valve for use on DOT cargo tanks and can be used to facilitate vapor recovery. The valve is tested and certified to EN13082:2008+A1:2012 with markings per US DOT 49CFR§178.345-5(f). The sequential interlock design allows the vapor valve to be plumbed in series with the outlet valve at the bottom of the tank, to ensure the vapor valve opens before the outlet valve. If desired, a wink or gauge can be plumbed to the air supply out port to provide a visual valve-open signal. If an interlock feature is not required, the outlet port can be plugged, and the valve will function as a basic non-interlock vapor valve.

The vapor valve features exceptional flow with an inward opening disk and a tapered seat to ensure a tight seal and prevent loss of lading due to surge or roll-over incidents. The aluminum body with FEP Teflon® encapsulated main seal, Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) air cylinder seals, and stainless trim, offers compatibility with a wide variety of products.

Threaded mounting configuration installs in a 3.84” (98 mm) hole as provided by standard 16” offset manhole and is secured with a threaded mounting ring and set screws. Air connections are 1/8” NPT.

Valve MAWP: 15 psig [1.0 bar].

Shell Strength Test: 73 psig (5.0 bar).

Maximum Operating Pressure: 15 psi [1.0 bar] with 90 psi [6.2 bar] line pressure supplied.
